This week I've reached over 500 swimmers/ coaches through online meetings. I feel so lucky to be able to do what I do and I will do my best to support everyone through this as much as I can. And.. Thank you so much for all the support on Swim with Jazz, it means the world β€οΈ www.swimwithjazz.co.uk
First time out on the bike today in months, as I've had bad knees. I was a bit nervous at first but it felt so good to be back out there. I only did 34km but feel amazing for it! Have a great weekend everyone β€οΈ

Finding a new normal - I think for the first couple of days when we were on lockdown, it felt a bit like a bank holiday weekend - the sun was shining and I was loving being outside. With everything going on, it is so important to just find our new normal, as it is such a big change for us all. I am even trying to adjust myself - the last few days I have lacked motivation to exercise and I have barely left the sofa. It is just so easy to get into a spiral of not doing anything and then I end up feeling guilty. I know I feel at my happiest and most productive when I have exercised and been eating well, but putting that into my daily routine has been hard. So last night I wrote out a weekly plan for the week ahead. This included time for exercise, along with any goals that I wanted to try to achieve. When I swam we always had a weekly plan, which gave me structure, but I haven't done it since as my diary changes quite a lot. Starting Swim with Jazz has given me so much focus and I am still trying to figure out that work/life balance. Going forward - I'm going to make sure that I give myself time for exercise and stay on top of my nutrition. What are you doing to keep busy?! Let me know what you're up to and how you're staying motivated! We will all find new ways to adapt and make our own normal. P.S This isn't my new normal - I just haven't taken any new pictures haha

Happy Mother's Day everyone β€οΈ If you're stuck at home and want something to do.. I've got you covered! Have a game of snakes and ladders and see who comes out on top ππΌπ *Warning - This game might be a bit sore haha* www.swimwithjazz.co.uk
I forgot to mention - The first 50 people to sign up will receive a signed swimming hat of your choice ππΌππΌββοΈ
Things I couldn't travel without - I know it looks a bit crazy but there is nothing worse than training hard for weeks/months and travelling to a competition and getting ill. When travelling I make sure I wipe down all the surfaces I'm touching with anti bacterial wipes and spray anti viral hand foam. The hand foam lasts up to 8hours and is so good for travel when you come into contact with lots of different things. By doing just these things you are reducing your chances of catching something and hopefully to give you the best chance on race day. I'll be giving a lot more detail on this and much more on swimwithjazz.co.uk when it's launched. Swim with Jazz .. Coming soon π
